Accenture appointed Bhaskar Ghosh as its new Chief Strategy Officer with duty for the company’s strategy and investments, including acquisition and ventures. On Monday, apart from Ghosh’s appointment as CSO, the conglomerate also appointed Simon Eaves as Managing Director of the UK and Ireland. On the other hand, Olly Benzecry will remain the Chairman of the Accenture in the region. For Accenture’s Industry X business, Ghosh will continue to lead the growth strategy. This consists of intelligent products and platforms and digital manufacturing. Of late, he served as advisor to Julie Sweet, chief executive officer of Accenture.
As per the conglomerate CEO, Bhaskar has helped to grow Accenture into a technology industry powerhouse and extended data in a very effective manner. He would advise her on crucial domains including business performance, growth & investment strategy, organisation effectiveness and restructuring. His enormous experience will be priceless as Accenture invests in helping clients become cloud first and transform every aspect of their businesses with technology. Prior to this, before joining Accenture in 2003, Bhaskar served as vice-president and global head of IT infrastructure management services at Infosys.
