As per the company, India becomes the first Amazon Prime country in the globe to provide customers a mobile-only Prime Video plan. By means of pre-paid recharges beginning at an initial offer of Rs 89, Airtel customers can get Prime Video Mobile Edition. Customers will get 28-days of Prime Video Mobile Edition along with 6GB data. Apart from this, they can choose a Rs 299 pack of 28-day validity that consists of Prime Video Mobile Edition along with unlimited calls, data access of 1.5 GB per day.
Talking about another prepaid recharge that now offers Prime Video Mobile Edition subscription includes Rs 131 plan. It offers Amazon Prime membership for 30 days along with full Prime Video access, unlimited ad-free music, free delivery, and other Prime benefits. Also, the Rs 349 prepaid recharge plan has been upgraded. Now, it offers Amazon Prime membership access with unlimited ad-free music, 2GB daily high-speed data, full Prime Video benefits, fast-delivery, and unlimited calling. Talking about Prime Video Mobile Edition, it is a single-user mobile-only plan, providing SD quality streaming.
Previously, Amazon Prime video’s rival Netflix had unveiled the cheaper mobile-only monthly plan in India and priced it at just Rs 199. The recharges will be available on the Airtel Thanks app or at recharge points across the country. According to Chief Marketing Officer of Bharti Airtel, Shashwat Sharma, it is looking to deliver a distinguished experience to customers through Airtel Thanks program.
