Amazon unveils Amazon Academy to help students preparing for the JEE

On Wednesday, Amazon India declared the launch of Amazon Academy. The academy is intended to help students preparing for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) for entrance to engineering colleges. As per the company, by means of curated learning material, live lectures and comprehensive valuations in Math, Physics and Chemistry, the online preparation offering will arm students with in-depth knowledge and practice routines required for the JEE. On the web and the Google Play store, the beta version of Amazon Academy will be available free of cost. As per an Amazon official statement, Amazon Academy will provide students a range of JEE preparatory resources at launch.

This will include over 15,000 handpicked questions with hints, especially crafted mock tests by industry experts and detailed step by step solutions for practice. The statement stated that all learning material and exam content has been developed by expert faculty from across the country. Apart from JEE, students preparing for VITEEE, SRMJEEE, BITSAT, and MET exams will also profit from the quality content resources available. It further added that the content is currently available for free and will continue to be for the next few months.

As per the Director of Education at Amazon India, Amol Gurwara, Amazon Academy aims to bring high quality, affordable education to all. This will begin with those preparing for engineering entrance examinations. Their aim is to help students achieve their outcomes while also empowering educators and content partners reach millions of students. He further stated that their primary focus has been on content quality, deep learning analytics and student experience.
