iPhone 12 four variants launched: Read below what’s new, price and features

The much-awaited Apple’s ‘Hi-speed’ event finally took place on October 13. A total of four new iPhones were revealed at Apple’s ‘Hi-speed’ event. This event witnessed a slight variation from the tradition of launching three iPhones. The conglomerate has brought together a fourth new model. All the phones are equipped with 5G. The iPhone 12 series consists of the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, larger iPhone 12 Pro, and an even larger iPhone 12 Pro Max. Starting October 30, the new phones will be available for consumers in India. Apart from this, Apple also announced the HomePod Mini which is priced at ₹9,900.

iPhone 12 Mini: The new entrant

Taking into consideration the trends of 6.0 inch screen in the market, the event saw one major change this year. This time it has come up with a fourth iPhone model which is an extremely compact form. This is in line with iPhone SE which comes with a smaller 4.7-inch screen, with the same footprints. Having a 5.4-inch screen, the size of the iPhone 12 Mini is also going to be the USP of the device. On the other hand, iPhone 12 has been priced at $799 which comes with a 6.1-inch screen display. When the device will be launched in India, the price difference may extend remarkably.

Available in green, black, white, blue, and PRODUCT (RED) colors, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models, starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 69,900, correspondingly. On the other hand, available in silver, gold, graphite, and pacific blue, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models starting at Rs 119,900 and Rs 129,900, respectively.

Power packed with A14 Bionic chipset

The 5.4-inch display screen will also get a notch compared to the other iPhone 12 variants. Nevertheless, due to the somewhat small screen-size, the size of the notch may seem larger. The front-facing lens and the FaceID are kept in the notch, Super Retina XDR display. The Company claims it is the thinnest and smallest 5G phone in the world. When it comes to camera sensors, the phone will be launching with a dual-lens setup. Similar to other iPhones launched at the event, the iPhone 12 Mini will be powered by the A14 Bionic chipset.
