The Jeep Compass 2021 facelift variant has been unveiled in India. The Jeep Compass has been the backbone for the company in India since its launch in 2017. Across the globe, India is just the second market to get the 2021 Jeep Compass. The 2021 model receives a substantial mid-life update, more so to the cabin and features. Talking about the dashboard design, it is completely new and comes with a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen together with new UConnect 5 system. Apart from this, it comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Talking about its prices, the prices of new Compass start at ₹ 16.99 lakh and go up to ₹ 28.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
When it comes to its other features, they consist of wireless charging, fully digital instrument console, ventilated seats up front and a new 360-degree parking camera as well. Along with new knobs and buttons for in-car controls, Jeep has also used premium soft-touch materials. Apart from this, the Jeep Compass 2021 comes with a number of visual updates including a new dark shade of green body colour variant. As compared to the outgoing model, the new SUV also appears more aggressive. Also, it has a sleek-looking new LED headlights with LED DRLs, redesigned bumper, tweaked faux skid plate, bigger air dam, new fog lamps, seven-slat grille, new 5-spoke alloy wheels, new LED taillights and more.
This year on the 80th anniversary of Jeep, you can also get a limited 80th anniversary edition which is priced at ₹ 22.96 lakh. The Company is offering it with a 2.0-litre diesel engine and manual transmission. The Jeep Compass will compete from the likes of MG Hector, Skoda Karoq, Tata Harrier and the Hyundai Tucson.
