After almost three years of its arrival in 2017, the Jeep Compass is getting a remarkable mid-life update. In the Indian market, Jeep Compass is the most reasonably priced SUV. Over the course of time, Jeep India has been making regular advancements in its line-up. The 2021 facelift is quite comparable to the one that was launched at the 2020 Guangzhou Auto Show. There are very understated updated in its looks. Nonetheless, it has got some remarkable upgrades in the features. On the outside, the updates are negligible and one requires a close look to understand the difference. To begin with, along with subtle cosmetic changes, there is a new body colour option.
Talking about the cosmetic changes, it has got new full-LED headlights, tweaked seven-slat grille, new alloy wheels and new LED taillights. Apart from this, both front and rear bumpers have been modified as well. Moreover, it gets a broader honeycomb mesh airdam upfront. This gives it an even more tough appeal. Talking about the inside of the SUV, we get to witness several remarkable upgrades. For example, it comes with a new dashboard that now has a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen unit. On the other hand, switch knobs for the climate control and push start-stop have been re-positioned.
For the interiors, there is new treatment with soft-touch upholstery. Apart from this, there is a new steering wheel as well together with an updated instrument panel. In its central console, Jeep has also increased the storage space. In the features department, the new and bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen unit is the biggest update.
