Within 18 months since MG Motor first arrived in the Indian market, it has unveiled the facelift of MG Hector. In Indian market, it made its foray with the launch of MG Hector. Since its unveiling in India, it has sold more than 40,000 units of the Hector. In its looks, it has made small changes. Also, it has got a size bigger alloy wheels that complements its big, bold design. Apart from this, the cabin has also witnessed some remarkable updates. Talking about the exterior, on the grille up front, the MG Hector facelift receives a new chrome-stud pattern. Along with this, there are new skid plates on the front and rear bumpers that are now finished in gunmetal grey. On the outgoing model, there was a satin finish. Talking about the side, there are newly-designed 18-inch alloy wheels. The wheels have substituted the 17-inch wheels on the pre-facelift model. Talking about its cabin, together with the prevailing all-black scheme, the interior is now available in dual-tone champagne-gold colour variant. Apart from this, there is a new wireless mobile phone charger. Also, the front seats get three-step ventilations system.
Apart from this, along with the Champagne-Black interior colour option, the Hector facelift also gets ambient lighting. Moreover, MG’s i-Smart system has been reorganized. In an industry first, the new i-SMart system now also responds to ‘Hinglish’ voice commands. In terms of safety, the new MG Hector facelift gets ESC, hill-hold assist, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and 25 other safety features as standard.
