With the sale of the first Micromax In smartphone today, Micromax has returned officially to the Indian smartphone market. Today, the Micromax In Note 1 went on sale on Flipkart at 12 noon. For the Indian company, it has proved to be a huge success. Within few minutes of the sale going live, the entire stock of the phone was sold. For the basic 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, the Micromax In Note 1 is priced at Rs 10,999. On the other hand, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 12,499 on Flipkart. On November 26, Micromax In 1B will go on sale on Flipkart.
For the Micromax In Note 1, Micromax had opened registrations on its website on the day of introducing the device on November 3. The sale is believed to have been fuelled by the Atmanirbhar Bharat and ‘local for vocal’ campaigns that the Prime Minister started this year. Ahead of the Micromax In series launch, Micromax had itself taken the Atmanirbhar Bharat or Make in India angle. Talking about Mircromax In Note 1, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. This is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB storage. Via a micro SD card slot, it is expandable up to 256GB. Backed with a large 5,000mAh battery, the Micromax In Note 1 comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display.
On the camera front, it packs a quad camera setup which consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel wide-angle shooter, and two 2-megapixel snappers. Apart from this, Micromax In Note 1 has a 16-megapixel selfie camera inside a hole-punch cutout. Also, it supports fast charging along with reverse wired charging. The box consists of an 18W power adapter. Apart from this, there’s a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
