OnePlus is defying the trend of boycotting Chinese smartphones. It has continued ruling the Indian smartphone industry by many blockbuster launches this year. Despite the geopolitical tensions between India and China for the last six months, it sold the highest number of OnePlus Nord during Amazon Prime Day in August. Its latest offering OnePlus 8T is its fourth phone this year. According to reviews given by many tech analysts, this is yet another great handset from OnePlus. It offers good all-round performance, long battery life, a stunning display, and a remarkable camera. OnePlus 8T comes in two configurations—12GB RAM/ 256GB storage (Rs 45,999) and 8GB RAM/128GB storage (Rs 42,999).
The brand offers two colour options here—Lunar Silver and Aquamarine Green. With a fast refresh rate of 120Hz, the OnePlus 8T’s screen is a 6.55-inch 1080 x 2400 AMOLED display. Also, the phone offers a fast and accurate in-display fingerprint scanner. It comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Talking about the cameras, the phone has a quad setup on the rear. With an aperture of f/1.7, there’s a 48MP main camera. Also, there is a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, a 2MP monochrome lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. For clicking good selfies or video calling, there is a 16MP front snapper.
Talking about its battery, it has new twin-battery charging technology. In just 39 minutes, its 4500mAh battery can fully charge. The phone can last over two days of moderate use. To keep charging temperatures at a safe level, the 65W charger is equipped with 12 individual thermal monitors.
