Employees and their families will have their COVID-19 vaccine costs covered by Reliance Industries Restricted. On January 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated a national vaccine campaign, with healthcare staff on the front lines of India’s COVID-19 combat receiving their initial shots. The nation recently started the second phase of its vaccination program, which would enable those above the age of 60 and anyone over 45 with illnesses to get vaccinated. “For you, your family, your parents, and your vaccine-eligible children, Reliance will cover the entire cost of the vaccine. It is our duty to ensure the welfare and well-being of you and your families. In a tweet, Nita Ambani, chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, said, “Mukesh and I sincerely believe that cherishing the wellbeing and happiness of our loved ones is what it entails to be part of a family – the Reliance Family.” Reliance Industries has a combined workforce of around 6 lakh employees, both on and off the job. When their families are counted, the figure rises to almost 1.9 million. The company has partnered with individual hospitals to conduct a vaccine drive for staff at their various locations. Staff members of the firm’s oil and chemical unit, distribution arm, and telecommunications enterprise Jio, as well as their colleagues and enrolled dependents, will be covered by the vaccination campaign. “Mukesh and I sincerely agree that valuing our loved ones’ wellbeing and happiness is what it takes to be a member of a family – the Reliance Family,” she said. She has recommended all workers who are willing to be vaccinated under the administration’s COVID-19 vaccine scheme to register as soon as possible.
