This Indian auto giant raises its passenger vehicle prices

With more than 8.5 million Tata branded vehicles commuting internationally, Tata Motors offers a wide spectrum of vehicles that are tailored for local conditions. Tata Motors is an Indian multinational manufacturing company. Tata Motors is known for meeting the highest standards for trucks, buses, safety, environment norms, quality, and user comfort. It consists of a wide range of cars, sports utility vehicles, and defense vehicles. Of late, it has announced that it will hike prices of its passenger vehicle range by upto ₹26000. Tata said it will “offer protection”. This was declared soon after the Maruti Suzuki had announced its price hike on Monday, January 18, 2021.

Its pioneering spirit and consumer satisfaction made Tata India’s leading and biggest automobile manufacturers. According to the reports, Tata Motors has marginally increased its prices from 0 to ₹26000, depending on the variant. Those customers who have booked Tata passenger vehicles on or before January 21, 2021 will get protection form the price rise as part of the promise made by Tata. It also mentioned that rising input costs and material costs of steel and semiconductors have led to this rise in price. Providing a range of smart and e-mobility solutions, Tata Motors is one of India’s largest OEMs.

Of late, Tata has been in news for manufacturing electric vehicles that will work as an alternative to Elon Musk’s Tesla. Tata has assured that the vehicle will last long for at least a period of 10 years. Apart from this, it also stated that in a single charge, the car will run up to 100 kms.
