Lately, the Korean carmaker Kia disclosed an all-new corporate logo earlier this month. Talking about the prevailing Kia logo, it features brand’s lettering in capital, encased inside a red oval. The brand-new logo is destined to represent Kia’s confidence and commitment to customers. Apart from this, the logo was revealed with a new slogan, ‘Movement that inspires’. As of now, for all three of its cars in India (Sonet, Seltos, Carnival), Kia continues to use the old logo. With the all-new Kia logo soon, the Sonet and the Seltos will be badged. Apart from this, the update is likely to make way to the two SUVs as soon as mid-2021.
The new Kia logo display its target to transform. The carmaker recently declared its Plan-S Strategy that emphasises on electric mobility. In an event in Incheon, South Korea, the new logo was unveiled. The event witnessed 303 pyrodrones launching hundreds of fireworks in a coordinated manner. It set a new Guinness World Record for ‘Most unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launching fireworks simultaneously’.
Talking about the new logo, it features a different font with joined letters that looks like a handwritten signature. When it comes to the two cars on which the logo will be first visible on in India, both the Sonet and Seltos are one of the best-selling cars in their separate segments. For the time being, the Seltos is priced from Rs 9.89 lakh.It goes up to Rs 17.45 lakh. On the other hand, the Sonet retails at a base price of Rs 6.79 lakh, going all the way to Rs 13.19 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
